We are based in Ballarat and service Ballarat and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we can come to your location, just get in touch.
What do I need to bring to my first lesson?
You’ll need your valid learner’s permit or licence (or MyVicRoads digital licence), and it’s a good idea to wear comfortable shoes (no thongs or heels), sun glasses are advised, and you are welcome to bring your drink bottle also.
Can you pick me up from home, school, or work?
Yes! Pick-up and drop-off can be arranged within the Ballarat area. Just let us know when booking.
How many lessons will I need before I can go for my test?
It varies for everyone, depending on your confidence, skill level, and experience.
During your lessons, we’ll give you honest feedback and let you know when you’re ready.
Do you provide the car for the driving test?
Yes, we provide a dual-controlled, roadworthy vehicle for the test. Just book a “Drive Test with Pre-Test Drive” package. This will include a practice drive test an hour before the test, to help calm nerves, and any last-minute manoeuvre practices.
Can I use my own car for the drive test?
Yes, if it’s registered, and has a MANUAL PULL UP HAND BRAKE, all lights, signals, aircon, horn, wipers (with water) are working, is not subject to a Takata airbag recall, and you’re comfortable, you can use your own car for the VicRoads Test.
Note: If you are unable to view the speedo from the front passenger seat, let the Licence Testing Officer know, and you will be asked to sign a waver that the speed monitoring will be done based on a handheld GPS device.
What’s included in the lesson packages?
Packages (5 or 10 lessons) include discounted rates and the option to bundle in your driving test. They’re a great way to save money and build consistent driving habits.

What’s your cancellation policy?
We understand that life happens, and plans can change.
If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can offer the spot to another learner.Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
No-shows (not turning up without notice) will be charged the full lesson fee.
If we ever need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (like bad weather or car issues), we’ll reschedule your lesson at no cost.
This helps us keep things fair for everyone and ensures all learners get the chance to book the times they need.
Do you teach nervous drivers?
Absolutely. We specialise in patient, supportive lessons that help build confidence at your pace.
Are your lessons suitable for international licence holders?
Yes! If you’re converting to a Victorian licence, I can help you get comfortable with local road rules and prepare for your test.
